Dr. William M. Scherer, D.D.S.

Dr. Scherer is the Senior Partner of Dental Professionals of Fair Lawn. He was born in East Orange, New Jersey, and currently resides in Towaco. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1967, he attended the University’s Dental School and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1971. That same year, he began in private practice with Dr. Donald C. Tusk, D.D.S. in Fair Lawn. Dr. Scherer is a member of several reputable professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association. He is also BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certified.

Dr. Scherer has been married for more than 30 years and has four children. His hobbies include bowling, nutrition, fitness, cars, and the Bible.

Dr. Jody Z. Bardash, D.M.D.

Dr. Bardash earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Issac Brauer College and his Bachelor of Science degree from Yeshiva University. After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Bardash attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1989. Dr. Bardash went on to complete Craniomandibular Dysfunction and General Practice Residency Programs at Hackensack University Medical Center. He joined Dental Professionals of Fair Lawn in 1990. Prior to his dental career, Dr. Bardash worked as a history teacher, emergency room technician, and managed a program for developmentally disabled children. He currently serves as an attending in the dental residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Society for Dental Aesthetics. Dr. Bardash is also certified in Craniomandibular Dysfunction and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and he was recognized in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” (2003-2004) as one of the finest cosmetic dentists in the country.

Dr. Bardash is very involved in the community as well. He serves as President of the board of directors of the Teaneck Gardens Owners Corporation, Vice President of the Yavneh Academy Elementary School, Assistant Treasurer of the Congregation Bnai Yeshurun, Assistant Commissioner of the Teaneck Men’s Softball League, and Manager of the Teaneck Basketball League.

Dr. Bardash has been married for 20 years and has four wonderful children.

Dr. George Tsangaroulis, D.D.S..

We are pleased to welcome the newest member of our practice, Dr. George Tsangaroulis.

Dr. Tsangaroulis received his B.S. Degree in Biology from Rutgers University and is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. During his academic career, he was President of the Hellenic Student Dental Association in which he organized several activities and fundraisers. He volunteered to travel to the Dominican Republic to treat underprivileged patients. He was also elected membership in the Honors Esthetics program for outstanding achievement in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Tsangaroulis completed a General Practice Residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. During his training, he became proficient in all aspects of general dentistry including management and treatment of children, medically compromised patients, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and root canal therapy.

Dr. Tsangaroulis is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has committed many hours to continuing education to stay on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in dentistry. He is extremely dedicated and enthusiastic about his profession and along with his caring and friendly personality, he will certainly provide optimal dental care.
